Lexi I sure do love You! Every day with you is a blessing! You are so loving and full of life! I love it when you give me a "huggy". My lap feels empty when you are not in it! Remember you promised to let me hold you even when you are 16! You are special to your mom and dad!

Birthday Bash for Lexi!

Jamie and Jared hosted and planned the activities for Lexi's Birthday party. I paid them both $5 dollars a piece to run the party! Best 10 bucks I spent that day! Jamie invited a few friends over to help paint finger nails and to run the games.
Lexi had a pre-party party during preschool (say that 10 times fast.) Taylor, Alaina,Ami, Lexi, Jasmine, and Kenison

Jared entertained the boys (Connor, Tate, Tyler, and Sam) by making paper airplanes, he also oversaw the bounce house and pinata)
Here is most of the crew! Lexi's Aunt Lisa and Aunt Hillary were there as well.

First day of School 2008

Welcome back to school! Jared is now in 4th grade and Jamie is now a 2nd grader! How did this happen? Where did all the time go!

Jamie's First Softball Game!

Jamie was "talked into" playing softball this season. The last (and only) team sport she tried was soccer. She was 4 and really did not like it. Many tears were shed. This time it was strategically planned. She already knew most of the girls who were going to be on the team. It was a brand new team and everyone was learning and basically at the same skill level. She has friends from church and from school on the team.

So far so good! She is really enjoying it. She tries hard and is constantly smiling. Other girls seem to be hard on themselves if they don't do as well as they would like. Not Jamie, she strikes out with a smile on her face. Her coach tells her she would be able to swing harder if she didn't have such big smile on her face while she watched the ball. She does not seem to see it as a competitive sport- which is fine! I am just pleased to see her finding such joy in trying new things.
