Halloween Night!

We had a great time Halloween Night! Our friends Cheryl and Dave invited us over for Pizza before we hit the streets for candy. Lexi lasted about 2 streets and she was done. She was a Snow princess so it was only fitting that she was carried most of the way. Jamie, Jared, Sophie, and Sam thought we weren't going fast enough.

Jared , Jamie and Lexi 2008Yes Jared is at that age were he likes this kind of stuff. He could not wait until halloween night so that he could pump his fake blood through the mask. It lasted about 30 minutes and then the blood leaked out all over his arm and legs. he begged and begged for this mask.... at least he got to enjoy it for a little bit. This is our friend Dave! He stayed behind and passed out candy.

Pumpkin Patch

My friend Cheryl and I took our youngest (Sam and lexi) to the pumpkin patch. They had a great time. I think I took 50 pictures of Lexi next to all the characters there. They got to go on several bounce houses, hay rides, mazes. It was a fun afternoon.

Trunk or Treat!

We crashed Lisa and Dave's trunk or treat this year! It was fun to get the cousins together. Scott and Hillary brought Tate. Tyler is missing in this picture- I'm sure he is running around finding more candy. (pictured Jared, Tate, Uncle Scott, Lexi, Jamie, Connor)

Jared just roamed around with his Heelys (shoes on wheels) by himself most of the time. At his age it is all about quantity!

Where in the world is St. Thomas?

If you spin a globe you just might miss these beautiful Islands! They are like finding a needle in a haystack. But what a Golden needle they were! I am continually amazed at the beauty of this world. I am also amazed at how small and miniscule I am in this world filled with so many people and so many places.

A few weeks ago I was on a barge with Dan and our friends Fredrick and Tammie Slay. We were leaving the island of St. Thomas for the day to explore the island of St. John in the Virgin Islands. It hit me how vast this earth was. I would have never guessed at that moment I would be in the middle of the Carribean Ocean. It is comforting to know that my Heavenly Father knows where I am at all times. I'm just one among countless other people on this planet yet He is there for me when I need Him. Simply amazing!

Our trip with Tammie and Fredrick is one we will always remember! It's also one Scott and Hillary Johnson will remember too! They were the ones stuck at home watching our kids! Thanks guys! We owe you!



Our favorite restaurant- We even called the chef out to applaud him!We stayed at the Marriott vacation club. This is a view of the beach there. The barge ride over to St. JohnDan and Fredrick stayed down below. Tammie and I enjoyed the view on the top deck.

Love is Fun!

This trip reminded me of why I love my husband so much! I will always remember the snorkling, kayaking, beach hopping, restaurants, and exploring! I'm sorry to tell you ladies....I've got the best man around!

A Bragging Moment about Jared!

Jared's school had a wild walk fund raiser this past week. They were to get people to pledge a certain amount of money for each lap run. The school made it a big deal with loud music, an MC, and water stations. Jared ended up running 42 laps. He ran the MOST laps out of EVERYONE in his school. He is in 4th grade- so he even out ran all of the 5th graders. Yes he rocks!

The 2nd picture is of Jared and his teacher (giving the ..yeah, we are cool look). Mr. True ran the most laps for teachers.
